The Gîte de Vendôme is a self-catering house a short walk from the centre of Vendôme, in the Loir valley north of Blois. It is let in pieces rather than as one lot: a small gîte that takes three, a green room for two, a larger gîte, and shared space between them. There is a pool, free parking and wifi, the whole place is non-smoking and part of it is step-free.
One of the arrangements is naturist. Taking the small gîte and the green room together closes the outdoor space off behind a gate, and the house describes it as a respectful space for anyone who wants to be as they are, which is also what the rainbow bench in its badge says.
The other thing the house does is magic. It stages mentalism shows with a ticketed calendar, gives private performances and will teach guests a trick or two. Vendôme has a castle ruin on the hill above it, the Parc Floral, and the Porte Saint-Georges over the water.
