Casa Dina is a small estate at Sommières, between Nîmes and Montpellier, within reach of the sea one way and the Cévennes the other. It lets four separate places to stay, each of them for two adults: the Villa Riviera, the Villa Cubic, the Suite Céladon and the Studio.
Every one has its own fitted kitchen and its own screened terrace, and each opens straight onto the pool, which is heated and treated with salt rather than chlorine. The two villas each have a private hot tub for four or five people on a terrace of about ninety square metres, and it is theirs at any hour without a supplement. There is a sun deck and a bar beside the water called the Pura Vida.
Nothing is shared with strangers. The terraces are screened from one another and the units are let separately, which is the point of the place rather than an accident of the layout.
The estate takes adults only, from eighteen. The house says it made a deliberate choice to be an openly gay-friendly address and to treat every couple the same. Pets are welcome.
