À l'ombre des 2 tilleuls is a small maison d'hôtes in the centre of Sainte-Pazanne, in the Pays de Retz south-west of Nantes. It takes adults only and calls itself naturist and gay-friendly: naturism is possible, and nobody has to.
There are three rooms. Two are named after Marie-Antoinette and Audrey Hepburn and come with a television and bathrobes; the third, Hossegor, is a simpler surf-and-nature room without either. Together they sleep up to eight. A continental breakfast is included, a brunch or a simple dinner can be added, and guests have use of a spa.
The host is a massage therapist and yoga teacher, so massage, hatha yoga and energy treatments can be booked in the house, and men-only tantra and yoga weekends are held there several times a year.
