Le Mikonos is an associative gay club a few minutes from Châteaucreux station in Saint-Étienne. Membership is part of getting in.
Inside there is a sauna and a hammam, six private cabins, three relaxation rooms, video rooms, a smoking lounge and showers. The cruising side of the house has a darkroom and glory holes. The club describes itself as a place for gay, trans and cross-dressing visitors.
Themed evenings and get-togethers run through the programme, and the club hosts rapid HIV and hepatitis testing on the premises, with results given on the spot. Bringing your own alcohol is not allowed, and payment is cash only.
It is about five minutes on foot from Châteaucreux station, on bus routes M3, M4, 11 and 29, with private parking outside.
