Le Camélia Blanc is a guest house and table d'hôtes in a 19th-century house in the centre of Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde, a village in the north of the Gironde between Bordeaux, Blaye and Royan. The house has been renovated and is furnished largely with second-hand pieces.
There are five rooms, each with its own theme and its own bathroom. One has a ground-floor terrace and a bathtub standing in the room, one is a pair of connecting rooms for a family or a group of friends, and another has a private terrace facing south over the garden.
The garden covers 2,500 square metres behind high stone walls, with a pool, a jacuzzi, a pétanque court under wisteria, an orchard and a vegetable garden. Breakfast is homemade, dinner is served at the table d'hôtes and massages are available in the house. It carries the Accueil Vélo label for cyclists, and the whole house can be rented.
