La Connexion is a gay-owned guesthouse for gay men only, in the countryside outside Peymeinade between Grasse and the Lac de Saint-Cassien. Cannes is about 25 km away and Nice airport about 40. Guests of all ages come alone, as couples and in groups.
There are five units for up to 16 guests. Three are apartments of 40 to 65 m² with a living room, kitchen and bathroom, and a sofa bed for two more people; Signoret has two private terraces, while Chanel on the ground floor has none. Dalida and Piaf are studios of 30 and 35 m² with their own kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Everything is self-catering, and breakfast can be ordered.
The house is old stone with arched terraces, facing a heated pool, a jacuzzi and a view over wooded hills, with vineyards and olive groves around it. The pool area is clothing optional, and the house rules keep sex out of the pool, the jacuzzi and the garden. The hosts cook a shared dinner with wine a few evenings a week when enough guests sign up, and a fridge by the pool holds drinks, snacks and ice cream. Friendly dogs are usually welcome. The house also runs package trips, among them a sailing week along the Côte d'Azur with one clothing-optional and one nude catamaran.
