Sun City is a men-only gay sauna on boulevard de Sebastopol, near Reaumur-Sebastopol and a short walk from the Marais. The venue calls itself the biggest sauna in Paris, at around 3,000 square metres over three floors, and nothing else in the city is close to that scale.
Inside there is an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a hammam, a jacuzzi, a gym, private cabins, a darkroom, a video room and a bar lounge. The decor is themed throughout in an Egyptian style, which the place commits to completely.
It also programmes events in the bar area, including karaoke evenings. Because of the size it stays workable even when busy, and the split between the wellness floors and the cruising areas is clear.
