My husband and I had TWO wonderful experiences here during Saturday and Monday afternoons! If you love a crowd that doesn’t body shame and isn’t ageist then you’re in for a treat. Coming from America we appreciated that the entry fee is pretty much all inclusive, they don’t charge separately for time spent there, reserving a room, or paying for a locker. The rooms and lockers are included in the entry fee and there’s no timed expiration, you can stay till close. The staff were kind and helpful and the atmosphere is great. It could use a little renovating here and there but overall the facilities were nice. We especially liked the dark room and GH room. The pool is jetted and relaxing, we only wished the temperature was a bit warmer. Be prepared to use the stairs a lot, there are 4 floors and no elevator. If you get a chance, book a massage in advance before you visit, you won’t regret it! As my husband said, it was the best massage he’s EVER had and I agree with him! If you’re looking to relax, pamper yourself, and let off some “steam” then this is the place. Escape the city and find some hot older men! If you aren’t a local just be aware that the entrance is through a gate on Rue d’Odessa after you’re buzzed in you’ll walk through the beautiful courtyard to enter. Sometimes it’ll show the entrance in an alley or street behind it on google maps or the transit apps which are wrong.
My husband and I had a wonderful time! No nickel and dime-ing you out of your money! Friendly hot staff and plenty of rooms for fun! Loved the dark rooms the best! Also, we HIGHLY recommend the massage therapist! We don’t remember his name but he has the most gentle loving touch! It was the best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve been having massages for years! The prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend him!
Welcoming staff. Gets very busy on Saturday afternoon. The dark labyrinths are not for timid members. Many places to rest or chat but plenty of non reserved rooms for private or public play. Clean and organized
Place. Also there's the lovely decor, large sauna, steam room, showers, all well maintained. 4 floors of something for everyone. Even us older men
My first time there and not the last.
The staff is very friendly, courteous and smily.
With that said, I paid 23 euros while it says 21 on their website... A bit expensive when there is basically only 1 sauna, 1 steam room and a plunge pool. The "underground" floor smells pretty rank. The other floors and cabins are very clean though and well equipped.
The clientele is indeed mature but that's what I was looking for. If you are looking for younger, there are other saunas where they go to.
The towels are small but these are the kind of towels you get nowadays when you go to the sauna. And you can get a fresh one at any time.
The recent reviews are pretty accurate in my opinion. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, from around 5.30-7.30. There were plenty of guys there. The crowd is bearish and definitely skews older; probably 50% were over 55. There were also a few otters and chasers and some skinny older guys. If you’re not into bears/otters/daddies...this is not the sauna for you! But if you are, you will have fun!
I found the facilities to be a bit scruffy around the edges but perfectly clean. The ambience is quite fun with old fashioned touches. The pool is definitely on the cooler side and it’s not ideally located for relaxing in. But overall the facilities were good and larger than I had expected. And there were nice touches like free water and cookies.
