Marche des Fiertés LGBTQIA+ de Paris Île-de-France 2026

03 Oct 2026, 13:30 - 13:30 | Paris, France

About this Event

The Marche des Fiertés of Paris and Île-de-France is the largest LGBTQIA+ demonstration in France. Inter-LGBT, the coalition of the region's LGBTQIA+ associations, calls it each year, and it is a political march before it is a parade: association blocks and decorated trucks carry the year's demands through the city, and speeches open the gathering before the cortège moves off.

This edition was originally set for the summer and was called off on the instruction of the Paris police prefecture during a heatwave, then moved to the autumn. The route is shorter than the usual one, because of how many other demonstrations ended up in the same weeks. It starts at Place d'Italie in the 13th arrondissement and goes down avenue des Gobelins, rue Monge and boulevard Saint-Germain, crosses the Seine at the pont de Sully, and follows boulevard Henri IV to Place de la Bastille, where the stage and the closing concert are.

The mot d'ordre is "2027 : Solidarité, diversité, LGBT+ et allié·es", which points at the presidential election ahead. Anyone can walk in the march without signing up for anything. Organisations that want their own block register with the organisers beforehand, and there is a float for people with reduced mobility who cannot walk the route, which also takes registration.
