ExisTransInter 2026

17 Oct 2026 | Paris, France

About this Event

ExisTransInter is the annual march of trans and intersex people in Paris and of everyone who stands with them. It has taken to the streets every autumn since 1997, and it is a demonstration rather than a parade: banners, slogans and speeches, no floats and no sponsors.

The 2026 edition, the 29th, marches under the slogan "Les mineurs trans et intersexes ne payeront pas votre impérialisme" (trans and intersex minors will not pay for your imperialism). The organisers put the focus on young trans and intersex people, as the French health authority starts drafting care guidelines for trans minors, and on the cost and legal barriers that now come with changing one's civil status.

The collective behind it is made up of trans and intersex associations, and the march usually gathers in the afternoon on a Paris square. The meeting point and route for 2026 are announced by the organisers shortly before the day. Allies are expressly welcome.
