Le Keller is a gay fetish and hard-sex club in Paris's 11th arrondissement, on rue Keller near Bastille, running under the same name for more than fifty years. It calls itself a club for men, built around fetish gear rather than street clothes, and says outright that it is not a place for onlookers: it wants people who take part.
The dress code runs to leather, rubber, neoprene, lycra, uniforms, skinhead and workwear looks; ordinary underwear, casual sportswear and anything read as feminine-coded are turned away outside its mixed events, and shoes are required even where nudity is not. Coats go into a cloakroom and phones are not allowed inside. The club's own rules ban political or extremist symbols outright.
Inside there is a bar lit in red and blue with a run of stools along it, behind a plain, unmarked black entrance on the street. Programming leans toward bondage, fisting and SM nights aimed at an experienced or curious fetish crowd, run by the house alongside guest promoters.
