Le Cactus is a small bar and bistro on Rue des Archives in the Marais, running under this name since 1910. It has a narrow street-side terrace that fills up quickly, and is known as a compact, unpretentious spot for a drink or a casual meal rather than a big night out.
The venue takes an active part in the Marais's LGBTQ+ nightlife scene, standing alongside neighbouring bars in joint statements on the safety of queer venues and their staff and customers, and keeps close ties with other bars on the same stretch of the Marais.
