Jardin des Remparts is a chambres et table d'hôtes in an 18th-century hôtel particulier set on the old ramparts of Orthez, in the Béarn. The stone house has white shutters and a front hung with wisteria, and behind it a large garden with palms and a heated pool. It takes adults only.
There are four rooms, each with a new shower room and toilet. Gaston and Henri are 30 square metres with a queen bed, Jeanne is 34 with a king, and Francis is a smaller room with two single beds. Tea, coffee and a kettle are in the rooms, and there is wifi throughout.
Breakfast is included, with fresh bread and croissants, homemade jam and yoghurt and honey from a local producer, and dinner at the host's table can be booked. Pets are not accepted. The house is in the town centre and parks at two free public car parks close by.
