Le Château d'Orleix is a chambres d'hôtes in a renovated 17th-century mansion at Orleix, a few kilometres from Tarbes, with the Pyrenees in view. Inside, old walls and fireplaces sit next to contemporary furniture, and the hosts make a point of the easy-going hospitality of the South-West.
There are seven rooms, each with its own name and style, from Victoria to the Palacio suite. The house has a pool in a landscaped park, and a spa with a sauna and a hammam.
The table d'hôtes cooks with local produce, served in a dining room with an open fire. The house also takes weddings, seminars and private events.
