Blue Angels is a men-only bed and breakfast in an apartment on rue Assalit, a few minutes on foot from Nice station and within walking distance of the old town and the beach. It describes itself as one hundred percent gay.
There are two rooms. One takes one or two guests, the other up to three. The flat is air conditioned throughout and double glazed, which counts for something on a street this central.
It carries the Nice Rainbow Cote d'Azur label, which the city's tourist board runs together with local LGBTQ+ associations: an establishment has to sign a charter and take training in inclusive hospitality to display it. The hosts live in the flat and will tell you what is worth seeing while you are there.
