A small bar on avenue Felix Faure, between the Old Town and place Massena, trading since 2023. It describes itself as a safe and convivial place, and the way it is run bears that out: this is a daytime-and-evening cafe bar rather than a night venue.
Drinks and cocktails are given a regional slant, and there is food to eat in or take away. A free amateur chess tournament runs weekly and draws a couple of dozen players, which tells you as much about the room as anything else does.
It is quieter than the bars around rue Bonaparte and works well as a first stop.
