A wine bar in the Old Town, on rue Droite near the Palais Lascaris, trading under the names Coco Bar and Coco Vin more or less interchangeably. It is the quiet, sit-down end of the Nice scene.
Wine is the point, with cocktails and small plates alongside, and the room is narrow and low-key rather than loud. The city LGBTQ+ associations use it for their informal drinks evenings, which is a fair signal of who is in there.
It opens every day and starts earlier than the bars by the port, so it works as somewhere to begin.
