Le Montecito

Le Montecito is a cocktail bar on allée Duquesne, a short walk from the Graslin quarter. The rainbow sign over the door is the giveaway. It is a gay bar that has never made much noise about being one, and the crowd is mixed and largely local.

Cocktails are the point. There are 32 on the list and the bar will build something off it if you ask. Past that it is wine, spirits, beer, and charcuterie and cheese boards to go with them.

Themed nights come round monthly: DJ sets, open stage, drag cabaret, and a bingo night hosted by one of the better known drag performers in the city. Groups can be taken, and the room is set up for it.
