Le Cercle Rouge is a bar on rue des Carmes, in the Bouffay quarter. It works as a café through the day and a bar in the evening, and it puts the rainbow and trans flags in its own description of itself rather than leaving that to other people.
Coffee, pressed orange juice and hot drinks by day. Beer, wine, cocktails with and without alcohol, and charcuterie and cheese boards later on.
It is not a cruising bar and not a club. It is the sort of room where you can hear the person opposite you, which in this part of Nantes is worth knowing about.
