It Bar is a late-night gay bar on the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, uphill from the Terreaux quarter. It opened in December 2011 and is one of the few gay bars left on that side of the hill.
It is a weekend-nights place and it runs late, so it works as the stop after the bars on the Presqu'ile have closed. The playlist leans on eighties pop, and requests are part of how the night works.
The crowd is mixed in age and mostly gay. It is small and informal, with no website and no bookings.
