Le Clos Limeray is a guest house in Limeray, a village on the north bank of the Loire between Amboise and Chaumont. The building is a seventeenth-century wine farm. Four rooms are let, fifteen guests between them at most.
Breakfast is a buffet, with bread from a baker, cheeses from the area, jam made in the house and organic cereals. Dinner at a shared table can be booked in advance; it is cooked in the house from local produce and is mostly organic, and a menu can be written for a group.
The garden is quiet and the wifi is free. The house also arranges things to do around it: a cooking workshop, a massage, visits to the wine caves, the local markets, birdwatching, riding. Amboise is seven minutes away by road, Chenonceau and Chaumont-sur-Loire about fifteen.
