Le Sling is a cruising club in a former factory near Porte de Valenciennes, running over three levels and open to men only. It has been going since 2006.
The front of it is an ordinary enough bar with video screens, a cloakroom, and somewhere to leave a bicycle. Past that the equipment is the point: five cabins, four cells, two darkrooms, ten glory holes, five slings and the room they call the Royal Room. There are areas set aside for group and bareback sex, and a washroom for intimate hygiene where you are expected to bring your own nozzle.
The club describes itself as raw, young and masculine, and it keeps the right to refuse anyone at the door. Line 2 of the metro stops a few steps away.
