La Hannière is a maison d'hôtes at Le Ham, in the middle of the Cotentin and a short drive from Sainte-Mère-Église and the landing beaches. The house is a long Norman farmhouse in pale stone with a slate roof and deep red window frames, set back from the lane behind a low stone wall.
Four rooms are let, and the hosts live in the house. Sur le rivage, La Blanchie and Le marais vert each take two; Trésors des mers takes four. Every room has its own shower room and a television, and linen is provided. Guests share a library, a bar, a sitting room and a garden with loungers in it. Breakfast and parking are included.
There is a table d'hôtes in the evening, cooked in the house from local produce and served as a full meal: an aperitif, a starter, a main course, cheese, a dessert and coffee.
Dogs are taken, on a lead and not left alone in the rooms.
