La Casa Color lets five rooms at Lamagdelaine, six kilometres from Cahors and its Pont Valentré, in the valley of the Lot. They are called Soleil Levant, Valentré, Cactus, Rosalbin and Kiricou, and two of them take a third person. All are air-conditioned and each has a terrace looking onto the pool.
The garden is the best of it. The pool has red and pink chairs along one side and is planted thickly around with palms, bamboo and cycads, with a wooded hill rising behind. A jacuzzi is heated all year round.
Breakfast is included, and on some evenings guests can eat at the owners' table. Parking is closed and shaded. Pets are taken if you ask first. The same house also runs a hairdressing salon, cutting for men, women and children, and selling wigs.
