The Château de la Ferté Beauharnais lets rooms in the Sologne, about thirty-five kilometres east of the best known Loire châteaux. The house is part fifteenth century and part eighteenth, and it belonged for a long time to the Beauharnais family: Joséphine before she married Bonaparte, her son Eugène, her daughter Hortense.
Four bedrooms and a suite are let, eight guests between them, each with its own bathroom. Breakfast is included and there is a salon the guests share. A park of fifteen hectares, laid out in the English manner, runs around the building.
There is no restaurant in the house. There is one two hundred metres away in the village.
