Les Marronniers is a restored 19th-century maison de maître in the village of La Bruguière, close to Uzès and the Pont du Gard. It has four guest rooms with room for up to eight people, each with a private shower, a television and WiFi, and one looks out toward Mont Ventoux.
There is a heated outdoor pool with sun loungers and shaded areas, and a garden with flowering plants and an old fig tree. A courtyard shaded by two chestnut trees is used for meals and sitting outside, and a first floor lounge has seating and a writing desk. Breakfast is a continental spread of local bread, croissants, jams and seasonal fruit.
The house takes no children under fifteen and no pets, and smoking is only allowed in the garden. The owners describe it as feeling more like staying with friends than at a hotel.
