Le Manoir 1977 is a chambres d'hôtes in the village of Marigny-Brizay, part of the commune of Jaunay-Marigny, about fifteen minutes north of the Futuroscope park and an hour from the Loire châteaux.
The house is a long building in pale stone under a slate roof, with a round tower and a conical roof at one end, tall french windows with white shutters, and a stone staircase with a balustrade and urns at the front door. It stands in its own park, with lawn running down to a covered pool and a palm beside it.
There are four rooms. Émeraude is on the ground floor, done in green, with its own bathroom and toilet. Romantique is upstairs, with a wooden headboard and a bathroom open to the room. Olive is upstairs as well, in a Provençal style, and looks onto the pool and the park. D'Antan has an alcove hung with toile de Jouy and the same view. Each room has a television and a tray with a kettle and a coffee maker.
The house also takes small private gatherings, family occasions, seminars and workshops, and is let out as a location for photo shoots.
