Gay Summer Week takes over Camping La Paoute in Grasse for its first edition, a whole holiday village for gay men from across Europe, about 15 kilometres north of Cannes and 30 minutes from Nice airport.
Days start slowly with breakfast and yoga under the olive trees, then aquagym, poolside games, an apero by the pool and sports tournaments in the afternoon. Every evening has its own theme, with drag shows, karaoke, live bands and DJs. The week opens with an XXL pool party with a barbecue, which outside guests can join too, and ends with a closing party in a club, included for everyone staying.
Guests sleep on site in mini-houses with one to three bedrooms, mini-houses with their own jacuzzi, or ready-made glamping tents called Army Lodges. There are shared and private bathrooms, a naturist area, a poolside bar and food on site, and a bakery and a supermarket a few minutes' walk away.
