Le Bossuet is a sauna and club in Dijon, spread over three levels and around 1,300 square metres, which makes it one of the larger venues of its kind in France.
It runs in two modes. By day it is a men-only gay sauna: steam room, dry sauna, jacuzzi, cabins, a maze, glory holes and back rooms. In the evening it becomes a mixed libertine club with a dance floor, and the crowd changes accordingly.
The house is explicit about conduct, publishing its own charter and stating that homophobic, racist or disrespectful behaviour is not tolerated. It has been running since the 1990s.
