Les Salins is a men-only sauna a short walk from the coach station in Clermont-Ferrand, in the quarter it takes its name from. The street gate is kept shut for security. You open it yourself and cross the courtyard to the club at the back.
Inside there is a Finnish sauna and a hammam, a locker room and a bar with a screen over it, and the whole club is air-conditioned. Past that it runs over several floors of narrow corridors and small rooms lit in red, with an unlit dark room among them.
It is the only gay sauna in the city, and the clientele is almost entirely gay men.
