Domaine de Monteils is a hamlet of holiday suites, lofts and villas in Carnas, in the Gard between Nîmes and Montpellier, set in a former priory whose origins go back to the 9th century. The estate later made wine from the 1890s until around 1960 and was converted to take guests from 2010.
The accommodation is meant for couples, and most units have a private spa. Suite Margot is a small stone house facing the park, Suite Luna a 74 m² apartment looking over the vineyards, and Pavillon Timéo and Pavillon Mathéo are stone houses with their own garden or suspended terrace. Rêve d'Evan is a vaulted 105 m² loft, Loft Benjamin has 160 m² under a six-metre ceiling with a roof terrace and indoor balneotherapy, and Villa Océane is an architect-designed villa with its own heated pool.
The old stone buildings and a square tower stand among plane trees, oleanders and olive trees, with a pool deck and loungers in front. Massages, a private chef and bike hire can be booked.
