Refuge Luxe is an adults-only boutique guesthouse in Camiran, among the vineyards of the Entre-Deux-Mers not far from Saint-Émilion. It calls itself gay-friendly.
The house is a former winemaker's residence, rendered and partly covered in Virginia creeper, on a 6,000 m² estate with mature trees. There are three rooms: a deluxe room of about 25 m², a junior suite of about 35 m² and a suite of about 60 m².
The pool measures 5 by 12 metres and clothing is optional around it. The grounds have sun loungers, parasols and several seating areas, including white tables on the gravel in front of the house. Breakfast is included, and light French platters or a three-course dinner with matched wines can be booked.
