Attitude Sauna sits on a quiet side street near the church of Saint-Martin, a short walk from the middle of Brest. It took over the premises of the city's older sauna in 2018, renovated them and reopened under this name. It is the only gay sauna in Brest.
Inside there is a dry sauna, a hammam scented with essential oils, an infinity spa held at 36 degrees, relaxation cabins, a video room, a labyrinth with glory holes and a sling. The bar does drinks and light food. There is a smoking area.
The house runs men-only gay sessions and mixed sessions open to gay, bi, straight and trans guests alike, so it is worth knowing which one you are walking into before you turn up.
The rules are published and applied. Identity is checked at the door and nobody under age gets in. Swimwear and underwear are not allowed for hygiene reasons and you wear the towel you are handed. Jewellery and phones go in the locker, showers and soap are provided, alcohol stays at the bar, and a closed cabin door is left closed.
