Le Mixø opened in February 2026 at the Octroi, in the rooms an English pub used to hold on rue Jean Jaurès. It calls itself a queer venue and opened with a drag show, and the programme since has run to DJ evenings, karaoke and roleplaying game nights.
The room is a bar and a shop at the same time. Cocktails and things to pick at on one side, a rail of vintage streetwear on the other, plus a tattoo corner and space that gets hired out for events.
Much of what happens here is put on with the local queer collectives rather than programmed in house, so the room changes character from one night to the next. It is the newest queer address in Brest by some margin.
