La Patte d'Ours 2 is a small guesthouse in the hamlet of Petit Bodo outside Ambon, in south Morbihan, about 7 km from the first beaches and 15 minutes from Vannes. The owners ran their first Patte d'Ours in central France before moving to Brittany.
There are two rooms: one with a 160 cm bed looking onto the garden, and a smaller one with a 140 cm bed. They share a separate bathroom. Breakfast is continental and included, with pastries baked by the host, who trained as a pastry chef.
The house is built on clean modern lines, with a lounge with a fireplace and a garden to sit in. Small dogs and cats are accepted, and a bear mascot greets guests, which is where the name comes from.
