Domaine des Ormeaux is a small estate of holiday lets near Ajat in the Périgord, and it takes adults only, from 16. There are four self-catering units, two houses and two flats called Marie, Adèle, Amélie and Jeanne, sleeping two or four each. A fifth, Lucy, is a guest room with breakfast included: a 34 square metre attic room with a large bed, a kitchenette and its own shower room.
The gîtes have fully equipped kitchens and air-conditioned bedrooms.
Guests share a 12 by 4 metre salt-water pool that is heated, and an indoor spa room with a four-person hot tub and an infrared sauna for two. The park covers just over a hectare, with a pond, two fish basins, croquet on the lawn and old stone walls lined with roses and cypresses. A common room with a dining area and a piano opens onto a terrace over the valley.
There is a laundry, covered parking, a bike store and charging points for electric cars. Groups and parties are not taken.
