Quand la Ville Dort is a guest house on the Ermitage hillside in Agen, directly above the Canal du Midi and its greenway, about ten minutes on foot from the station and the town centre. The house has a neo-Basque front and an Art Deco interior with high ceilings and a grand staircase, and it has taken guests since November 2019.
There are five rooms and suites, each renovated with its own bathroom and parquet floors. The smallest is a compact double over the garden patio; the largest is a suite with a south-facing terrace looking over the gardens, the canal port and the town. Several rooms look out over the canal.
Breakfast is served in a round dining room or on the patio. Outside there are small terraces, a garden with loungers and an outdoor swimming pool, and the house also hosts events. It says it welcomes guests of every background, gender and orientation.
