Con Hombres is the only gay sauna in Finland. It is in Katajanokka, on Kruunuvuorenkatu, a short walk or one tram stop east of the market square. The door is not at number 3 itself but halfway between street numbers 3 and 5.
Inside there are two Finnish saunas and a steam room, plus a bar, a video room, a dark room and a terrace to cool down on. The dark room has slings. A masseur works there. The crowd is a mix of locals and visitors and skews to men in their thirties and up.
The street is residential rather than nightlife, and the sauna keeps a low profile from the outside. Finland has no other venue of this kind, so it draws from well beyond Helsinki.
