About

The Estonian LGBT Association keeps its centre on Kaarli puiestee, a few minutes from Freedom Square. It is not a bar and not a drop-in: visits are arranged by email first. What happens there is counselling, support groups, trainings and community events.

The rooms are rented out too. There is an information room for fifteen to twenty people with a conference table, whiteboard and projector, a smaller sitting room with a sofa and floor cushions for informal meetings and film nights, and a kitchen with a long table. With the furniture moved the centre takes about fifty. Groups from outside the association can book them.

The association also keeps a library of LGBT+ books and teaching material, runs the 'Kõik on teretulnud' (Everyone is welcome) mark for businesses that commit to being welcoming, and organises Tallinn Pride and the Baltic Pride edition Tallinn hosted in 2026.

For a visitor this is the place to ask what is on in the city, rather than a venue to turn up at.
