Kiss Kiss opened in August 2014 at the quieter end of Studiestræde and settled into being the city's bear bar. It runs over two floors, which is unusual for the street, and the upstairs is where it gets busy.
The crowd is bears and their admirers, older on average than at the bars nearer the Town Hall Square, and the staff speak several languages. Cocktails, beer and the rest, with no show programme to speak of. People come to talk.
It describes itself as a gay bar and a queer community space.
