Centre Stage opened in August 2024 in the Studiestræde room that held Cosy Bar for decades, and it does not pretend to be starting from nothing. The bar describes itself as carrying that legacy on rather than replacing it.

The music is musicals, film hits and pop, with karaoke and free drag shows on the small stage and themed nights built around retro pop and eighties disco. Red patterned wallpaper, a chandelier and a long bar, which is close to what was there before.

It sits in the Latin Quarter with Jailhouse and Homoware on the same short street.
