Joys is a swingers club in Åbyhøj, a few kilometres west of central Aarhus. It is listed here because it runs dedicated gay and bi theme days, not because it is a gay venue. The rest of the time it is a mixed club for couples and singles.
The building is about four hundred and fifty square metres behind a plain facade, with parking outside and the motorway close by. Inside there is a sauna, a darkroom, group rooms with large mattresses, private rooms with films playing, an SM room with apparatus, a voyeur space and a smoking cabin. The changing rooms have lockers, showers and towels, and there is tea and coffee in the common area.
The theme days are the thing to pay attention to. Gay and bi days are named as such on the programme, alongside SM, naked and dark themes. Guests sign up in advance, and the club publishes how many have done so, which gives a rough idea of how busy a day will be before setting out.
It is a members' club and the site runs a members' area.
