UP&DOWN is on Seifertova in Žižkov and is really two venues in one building. UP is the ground-floor bar, DOWN is the gay club in the cellar underneath it.

The upstairs bar shows sport on a large projector and draws a mixed crowd, including plenty of people who are not there for the club. Downstairs is the gay side, with go-go dancers, DJs and its own bar. Between them they make up one of the larger gay drinking venues in the city.

The two halves keep different opening patterns, with UP starting in the afternoon and DOWN later in the evening, so it is worth being clear which one you are heading for. Happy hour pricing and drink bargains are part of the draw.
