IP Club is a gay bar and dance club in a vaulted cellar on Mikovcova, two minutes' walk from the I. P. Pavlova metro. It opened in December 2021 in the rooms that used to be Club Placebo.
The programme is DJ nights, travesti and drag shows, karaoke and one-off party series brought in by outside promoters, including international drag line-ups. Entry is often free. Tables can be reserved by phone, and the club takes birthday and private bookings.
The room is small, which is much of the appeal. It fills quickly and feels closer to a neighbourhood bar that happens to have a dance floor than to a big-room club.
