The Saints is a small basement bar on Polská in Vinohrady, a few minutes from náměstí Míru and a long-standing fixture of Prague's gay quarter. It has a reputation as the friendliest gay bar in the city and the staff speak English.
The fit-out is British in style and the bar stocks British drinks alongside the Czech ones. Retro music nights and a monthly quiz run as part of the regular programme, and the bar keeps British gay press on the shelf.
It draws expats and English-speaking visitors as much as Czech locals, which makes it a practical first stop for working out where else to go. The same company runs a gay travel agency from the address and operates Bar GINGER a few streets away.
