Bar Club H46, known to everyone in Brno as Háčko, has been running since 1992 and calls itself the oldest gay and lesbian bar in the city. Its motto, "Bar pro 4% + 96%", is the short version of the door policy: the bar is queer, and the other 96 percent are welcome as well.

The room is small and dimly lit, a few minutes from Mendlovo náměstí at the Poříčí tram stop in Staré Brno. Facebook lists it as a dance club as well as a bar, and the staff will play what you ask for.

One thing to get right before you set off. The name and the Facebook handle both come from the old address on Hybešova 46, where the bar spent most of its life. The bar is on Křížová now, and a laser tag arena occupies the old address.
