The Queer knihovna is the library of STUD, the association that has organised queer life in Brno since 1996 and that runs Brno Pride. It shares the association's office on Cejl, a short walk east of the centre.
The shelves hold around 500 Czech and foreign books on LGBT+ subjects, plus hundreds of magazines and a run of bachelor's and master's theses on queer topics. The archive of the Mezipatra queer film festival is kept here too, a festival STUD helped start. It is the only registered LGBT+ library of its kind in the Czech Republic, entered in the national register of libraries under number 6555/2015.
There is an online catalogue at katalog.queerknihovna.cz, so you can check what is on the shelf before you come. The library is run by volunteers and has no fixed opening, so access is arranged with the librarian by email or through the library's Facebook page. This is a place to sit and read or to borrow something, not a drop-in café.
