Tapper

Tapper is a bar in the Trigono tis Marikas building on Eleftherias in Limassol, running since 2017. It describes itself as a hub as much as a bar: somewhere to gather, share ideas and start projects, as well as somewhere to drink and dance. The list covers signature and classic cocktails, craft beer, wine by the glass and coffee, with snacks to go with them.

Queer programming is a regular part of what happens there. Queer Wave, the Cyprus LGBTQIA+ film festival, has screened here, the Quintessentially Queer collective has run its book club series in the room, and a Cyprus Pride afterparty has been held at the bar.

Upstairs is UpperTapper, an artist-run space with its own exhibitions and a film club. Between the two floors the programme moves between gigs, screenings, talks and club nights, so what is on depends more on the evening than on the venue.
