Garage Sauna is the only gay sauna operating in Sofia. It has been open for more than fifteen years and used to be called Taragon Steam. It sits in the Reduta neighbourhood east of the centre, roughly halfway between the city and the airport.
The place is small: capacity is fifteen men. There is a social area with free tea, coffee and water, a steam room, showers and two private rooms. A visit is not time-limited during opening hours, and entry includes a clean towel and flip-flops.
Payment is cash in leva or by Revolut QR code, and cards are not accepted. The door is a minute's walk from the Atanas Uzunov stop on bus 72, and about ten minutes from the centre by taxi.
