Club Asylum

About

Club Asylum is a late-night club on Hristo Belchev in central Sofia and the home of Gay Parties Sofia. The room covers around 420 square metres and holds a dance floor, lounge areas, a wardrobe with changing facilities and a bar.

The programme rotates. There are men-and-mascs-only gay nights, LesBi parties, bi+ and couples nights, and a FLINTA industrial party called Hardline that runs with a darkroom and play zones. Music follows the night: hard techno and hypnotic groove at the gay parties, hyperpop at the LesBi ones, moody pop and electronica at the free-entry community socials.

The house rules are published and the club enforces them. Entry is 18+. All-black is the minimum at parties, with no colour restriction on latex, leather, lace, lingerie or avant-garde outfits. Consent has to be a spoken yes, and photos, video and recordings are banned anywhere inside.
